It is owned and operated by Alicia Richler, a senior communications professional with more than 15 years’ experience – in corporate affairs, internal, change and crisis communication, marketing communication, media and public relations, stakeholder relations, issues management, corporate social responsibility, as well as journalism, branding, reputation building and social media.

She is passionate about creating innovative and integrated communications campaigns and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop initiatives that raise the profile and reputation of a company’s brand. She believes in engaging and collaborating with employees and customers to craft an impactful story and build relationships.

Kinetic Motions consults with companies of all sizes to help them develop a communications strategy, build their reputation in the community and create a brand.
Alicia was the Director, Corporate Affairs and Communications, as well as Director of the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation, at Sears Canada, for five years. There she developed communications and branding strategies for the Company and its Charitable Foundation, in keeping with the corporate vision and core values, to advance brand identity, and achieve strategic goals and priorities.
Prior to that Alicia was Assistant Director of Communications at the Canada-Israel Committee. There she collaborated with a team across Canada and built strong relationships with national media and all levels of government, to promote strong community relations between Canada and Israel.
Alicia worked in television and radio in New York and Toronto. She started her journalism career as an associate producer in radio and rose to the level of Assignment Editor at Rogers Sportsnet, a national television sports network.
Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
